The Pico-breaking-Bitlocker thing...

I got excited reading the headline. It sounded like an amazing feat. But when I saw the rickety scaffolding of requirements to pull it off, I got slightly less excited. You know, don't get me wrong, it's a great exploit, but I tend to think of exploits in terms of how wide the use case is, how far reaching the exploit can be. Well, it requires physical access to the device, the device has to have a TPM separate from the CPU, etc. It's not like they just broke all disk encryption.
